We’re off! Making homeade stencils of birds. Math is everywhere, Maxx is calculating all our paint: 10 liters paints a class, we have 16 classrooms and each bucket of paint is 20 liters. How many buckets of paint do we need? We are also reading Secret Agent Gadget Battle every night and we can’t wait to see what happens to Nick and Tesla. Oulga is the cutest 4 year old ever and loves anything shiny!
Back from a long day, Nelson made the most amazing makeshift scaffolding so I could do the school logo. It was hotter than ever, thank goodness for 50 sunscreen! Kids were so happy to see the big sun rise mural and amazingly excited to move their desks back into their newly painted classes. The favourite class color is the orange with purple racing stripe. So many cute kids....they’re now just calling me Mama. Last day of painting for Maxx and I is tomorrow before we head back to America.

What we learned today:
Nothing is impossible (quote from Maxx). Shading letters makes it all look cool and gets a lot of mileage. Cardboard is awesome and makes for good stencils. Sun rises at 6:00AM and sets at 6:00PM....perfect day. The stars are amazing and plentiful at night. Pap is good with a side of beans and a little salt. We really don't need much to be happy.
